This Sunday marks the tenth anniversary of the proclamation of Willem-Alexander of Orange as King of the Netherlands. Current support for the Dutch royal family stands at 55% according to the most recent survey by the NOS Institute.

But the image of the king has been greatly damaged by blunders such as the trip that the royal family made to their fabulous residence in Greece in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic. The current head of the Bourbon dynasty also became the new holder of the Crown by an abdication, that of his father Juan Carlos I.
