Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) has procured helicopters and aircraft to fight forest fires. MSB acts as a liaison between the flights and the municipal emergency services.
Detecting fires at an early stage and overcoming them before they spread is one of the lessons learned from 2018.
