The U.S.-Mexico border is expected to open on May 11. Migrants from Latin America and the Caribbean will be able to enter the United States.

The new arrivals will include Venezuelans, Cubans, Hondurans, Mexicans and Ecuadorians. The United States wants to stop the flow of migrants into the country, but it is not sure how to do it. The U.N. says it is working on a plan to reduce the number of migrants crossing the border to less than 100,000.
