Buddhist statues unearthed at the ruins of Longxing Temple in Qingzhou have been hailed by Western scholars as "a major discovery that rewrites the history of Eastern art" Wang Ruixia, former director and research librarian of Qingzhou Museum, recently accepted an exclusive interview with China News Agency's "East-West Question" to interpret the above issues. The largest Buddhist statue is 320 cm tall and the smallest is only 20 cm high.
