Virgin Galactic to begin commercial space flights in May. The first flight will take place from Spaceport America in New Mexico.

Virgin Galactic competes with Blue Origin, which has already sent 32 people into space. The company has pre-sold some 800 tickets for space: 600 between 2005 and 2014, for a price between $ 200,000 and $ 250,000, and 200 additional in recent years, for $ 450,000 each. The flight will be the last evaluation of the complete space system before commercial flight service opens in June.
