The Disney company and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis are engaged in an ideological and now judicial battle. The entertainment giant decided Wednesday, April 26, to sue Ron deSantis.

The governor launched the "Don't Say Gay" law, which prohibits LGBT issues from being discussed in Florida schools. Disney denounces a campaign of retaliation by the state that now affects its economic choices. Instead, a spokeswoman for the governor called it an attempt to go against the will of Florida voters. He then decided to revoke the status granted to the company when it was set up in the late 1960s.
