Ukrainian citizens can only apply for a residence permit for a year. This means they are not entitled to certain benefits, such as medical care.
"It's unfair," says one woman who lives in Sweden. "I pay taxes, but I'm not allowed to live in Sweden," she says. "That's what's wrong with the system" says another. "We can't live in a country where we don't have the right to live," she adds. "There's no point in living in Sweden if you can't pay your taxes"
