The Ukrainian army says it intercepted 37 missiles and 29 Russian drones on the night of May 28 to 29 throughout the country. It also said it shot down all 11 Iskander missiles launched by Russia on Monday.

The frequency of air attacks, by suicide drones and missiles, has increased considerably over the past 48 hours. The attacks create a strategic dilemma for Kiev, which must both protect the skies above its citizens, but also above its soldiers, east and south, in the upcoming counteroffensive.
