Nearly 400 painters in Sweden went on strike on Friday. Employers want to remove a competence requirement in the collective agreement.

Union: Abolishing the competence requirement would in the long run risk lower wages. If the strike continues until 24 May, painters at three more workplaces in Dalarna will be taken out in the strike.
