A car in the convoy of Turkey's ambassador to Khartoum, Ismail Çobanoglu, came under fire, causing no deaths or injuries. Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said Turkey will move its embassy to Port Sudan.
The identity of those who opened fire is not yet known, according to diplomatic sources. Since April 15, clashes have continued in Sudan between the army and the Rapid Support Forces, in which the two sides exchanged accusations of responsibility.
