"The Tunisian Frankenstein" by Kamel Riahi was withdrawn from the Tunis International Book Fair. The publisher of the book "dispelled misunderstandings" with the organizers of the Fair.

President Kais Saied launched a fervent appeal "to free thought" at the Fair's inauguration. The book was not confiscated for its content but because it was not on the list initially presented to the management of the fair as required by the regulations, says the publisher of "La Maison du Livre"
