TSMC has expanded its global layout and started to set up factories overseas, facing many tests. Events such as earthquakes, floods, typhoons, droughts, tsunamis, sandstorms, volcanic eruptions, fires, gas/chemical spills, epidemics, cyber attacks, supply shortages such as water/electricity/natural gas may also cause TSMC's operations to be disrupted.
TSMC is expected to build two phase chip factories in Arizona, USA, and the first phase of the chip factory has begun to move into equipment.
