Cheslin Kolbe will leave Toulon at the end of the 2022-2023 season. The 29-year-old has been at the French club since 2010.
He has scored 31 tries in 82 appearances for the club. "I'm still here, under contract until 2024 and I won't go to Japan. Nor anywhere else," Kolbe said in a statement on his Instagram account. "It's not easy for me to say goodbye, but that's life," he added.
