Recent satellite images taken by the American company Maxar revealed the extent of the destruction caused to Khartoum International Airport. Images showed plumes of smoke rising from civilian planes parked on the tarmac.

Pictures also showed the burning and damage of the building of the General Command of the Sudanese Armed Forces and the fire of the headquarters of the security service. Satellites also spotted scenes of damage to bridges and the train station in the Sudan's capital. The images showed flames rising from burning planes to long distances over the capital.
