From June 5, 2023, Tinkoff Bank introduces a commission of 1% for replenishing an account using cash currency. The bank suspended the ability to transfer money in dollars and euros to Serbia, Mongolia and Bosnia amid international sanctions.

On March 2, the head of the Central Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina, said that the regulator could allow banks with a basic license to open foreign accounts on a permanent basis. An employee of the credit institution added that the timing of the resumption of such transfers is unknown.
