The United Nations mission in Sudan has reported on Sunday that three employees of the World Food Programme (WFP) died this Saturday during clashes. Fighting between the Sudanese Army and the powerful paramilitary group Rapid Support Forces (FAR) continued on Sunday morning in the vicinity of the headquarters of the Armed Forces, in the center of Khartoum, and other towns in Sudan.

In two days of fighting, at least 56 civilians have been killed and nearly 600 - also among the ranks of the warring parties - wounded.
