[HIGHLIGHTS] This is where the first climate-positive grass pitch is laid

Hässleholm will be the first in the world to replace an artificial turf pitch with a natural grass pitch. The pitch will be inaugurated this autumn and will be possible to play on even during the winter months.

The idea is to lay the entire lawn in a type of rubber cloth to make it a completely closed system. Next to the pitch, a pond is being built to be able to regulate how much liquid is needed for the lawn.See the pictures from Österås IP in the clip above.
