ICU beds in Ljungby Hospital will be closed during the summer. Municipal politicians are holding a manifestation in support of keeping the hospital as an emergency hospital.
The top health care politician says there is nothing to indicate that the ICU beds will be shut down. But Björn Gullander (V) is doubtful about Ida Eriksson (M)'s promises to keep the hospital open during the holiday periods. The manifestation will be held on Thursday. The decision to close the ICu beds is only linked to the fact that it has not been possible to recruit staff to ICU in LJungby during the holidays.
