23 victims of the "black rain" atomic bombing in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan, recently filed a class action lawsuit with the Hiroshima District Court. The plaintiff argued that the same victims of "Black Rain" were treated differently and challenged the relaxed recognition standards again.

Of the 23 victims of Black Rain who filed the lawsuit, 16 have their applications rejected, and the other 7 have yet to receive the results of the review. Some of them cannot be identified as victims of nuclear explosions even according to the new criteria because they cannot be confirmed to have been exposed to " black rain"
