Dorotea is the second smallest municipality in the country. Only seven new cars were bought there last year.

Most new cars are registered in the big cities, where most new electric cars end up. Access to charging points is usually highlighted as a prerequisite for increasing the share of electric cars. But in Dorotea, the chargers have only been around for a year or so, says Mikael Levin, investigator at Transport Analysis. The possibility of acquiring an electric car will also be quite small, he says.
