Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad announced the imminent resumption of the work of the Saudi Embassy in the SAR. He made the corresponding statement following talks with his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisel bin Farhan Al Saud in Jeddah.

Earlier, the Iranian Embassy in Riyadh, as well as the Consulate General and the Iranian Mission to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, resumed their work in Saudi Arabia. The meeting of the Council of the League of Arab States (LAS) is taking place.
