The Swedish Transport Administration is still far behind with its planning for various track works. This, combined with staff shortages, means that the agency is forced to go up in staff mode from Friday.
SJ is still unable to release tickets for journeys between Stockholm and Gothenburg for several days in mid-May. The closer the train companies can release their journeys, the faster ticket prices will rise after they have been put up for sale. The Swedish Transport Authority says that their goal is that passengers will not notice the work and that trains will run according to schedules.
