The Spanish Institute for Strategic Studies under the Spanish Ministry of Defense in its annual report "Strategic Panorama - 2023" noted the successes of RT and Sputnik in Latin America. The study says that Russia has launched "a very successful strategy of infiltrating Latin American societies with the help of its media" The authors of the report announced a sharp increase in traffic to the channel's website after the start of the Russian special military operation.
It is noted that the increase in attendance was almost 40 million in February 2022.
