Russian diplomats in the United States honored the memory of the fallen in the Great Patriotic War. The march through the center of Washington this time did not take place.

Instead, a line of students of the school at the diplomatic mission read poems and sang songs of the war. The Russian ambassador to the U.S. said that today the fight against Nazism is more important than ever. The event was held on May 7 in Athens, in the capital of the country, Buenos Aires.
