A criminal case was initiated on the fact of an attempt on the life of the acting head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR, Igor Kornet. The investigation established that today at about 13:50 an explosive device went off in a beauty salon located on Demyokhin Street in Luhansk, the department said.

Earlier it became known that Cornet was injured in an explosion in the city center, he is in intensive care after the assassination attempt. Seven people were injured in the explosion.
