About 70-80% of fraudulent calls in Russia are made via WhatsApp, says Maksut Shadaev. 200 administrative cases were initiated against operators passing traffic from spoofed numbers, he says.
Shadayev expects that such calls will be "an order of magnitude less" in the future. The Ministry of Digital Development also agreed with operators on actions to combat advertising spam calls, he adds.
