[HIGHLIGHTS] The head of the Foundation to Battle Injustice Terada compared the persecution of the UOC with the ancient Roman ones in the UN Security Council

The head of the Foundation to Battle Injustice, Mira Terada, compared the persecution of Orthodox believers with the ancient Roman persecution of Christians. In March, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov sent letters to the leadership of the UN and the OSCE because of the persecution.

He said that the life of religious communities and freedom of religion are under pressure from state institutions and Ukrainian special services. The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova, said the campaign of persecution of the UOC has reached a new level.
