The Georgian Civil Aviation Agency has granted permission to the Russian airline Azimuth to operate charter flights from May 17. On May 10, it became known that Russian President Vladimir Putin abolished the visa regime for Georgian citizens from May 15.

It is clarified that this does not apply to Georgian citizens arriving in Russia to work or for a period of more than 90 days for a temporary stay.Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that the abolition of the visas regime for Georgia citizens in Russia is a humanitarian decision.
