The driver of a tractor has died after being run over by an Alvia train in Arenas de Iguña, in Cantabria. The vehicle has been hit when trying to cross a level crossing without barriers in a field area between Las Fraguas and Bárcena de Pie de Concha.
The railway has been "useless" and circulation is cut because in that area there is only one track, so it will have to be removed to restore, if there is no damage to the tracks.
