[HIGHLIGHTS] The court in Voronezh mitigated the punishment of the American Gilman in the case of an attack on a policeman

Voronezh Regional Court commuted from 4.5 to 3.5 years the sentence of the court of first instance against US citizen Robert Gilman. Gilman was detained on January 17, 2022 due to the fact that he drunk violated the order on the train.

According to investigators, he kicked a policeman several times. In October last year, it was reported that the protection of American citizen Gilman plans to appeal to the United States with a request to initiate an exchange process.
