Kronoberg County is the first in the country and will be a pilot for how other counties can work. The purpose of the regional chief council is to make the work against violence against women more effective.

The County Administrative Board in Kronoberg will gather managers in the police, municipalities, the County Administrative board and the region to work together. The Swedish Gender Equality Agency, the Swedish Police Authority, and the Swedish Prosecution Authority are included in the Executive Council. Watch the clip above to hear County Governor Maria Arnholm talk about the initiative.
