The government on Tuesday gave permission for two offshore wind farms off the west coast. Both parks lack Natura 2000 permits and thus risk being stopped in court.

Skåne offshore wind farm, which has all permits ready, will have to wait for the go-ahead. But a green light from the government cannot take too long, according to the management at Ørsted, which applied to build the park. The Swedish Armed Forces have said no to all offshoreWind farms. The security situation in the Baltic Sea region may be a contributing factor to the delay.
