The Polish Cabinet of Ministers has authorized the heads of relevant departments to temporarily ban the import of Ukrainian grain. Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Poland, Robert Telus, noted that Warsaw proposes to consider the issue of distributing incoming Ukrainian grain to all countries of the European Union.

He announced plans to appeal to the EU to thoroughly revise the draft resolution on exemption from duties for the next period of goods and products from Ukraine. Slovak minister of Agriculture Samuel Vlčan said that a high content of pesticides was found in Ukrainian grain, which transits through Slovakia.
