The border committee of Belarus reported that the regime for crossing the border with Russia has not changed. At organized checkpoints on separate roads at the border, passports of those entering the territory of the republic are checked.

In January 2023, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law ratifying the Russian-Belarusian agreement, according to which foreigners who have received a visa to Russia or Belarus will be able to cross the borders of the second country without obtaining an additional visa. At the same time, the committee did not specify how long such monitoring of passports would last.
