Sararat Rangsiwuthaporn, 35, is accused of murdering her friend Siriporn Khanwong on April 14. Autopsy results detected cyanide in the body of the victim, who had died of heart failure.
Police, when they detained Sararat for questioning as a possible suspect, found a bottle of cyanide. At least 12 of her friends, between 33 and 44 years old, had also died from heart conditions between December 2020 and April 2023.
