1 is suffering from pain in the right elbow, and is "unfit to participate" in the Madrid tournament. On Saturday, he was eliminated in the quarterfinals of Banja Luka's ATP 250 6-4, 7-6 (8/6) by compatriot and world No. 70 Dusan Lajovic. This setback comes a few days after another elimination in the eighth-finals of Monte-Carlo.
