Andrey Rublev beats Holger Rune 5-7, 6-2, 7-5 in Monte-Carlo final. Rublev wins his first Masters 1000 title.

The Russian is 6th in the world and won the Australian Open in January. Rune won last year's final in Paris by beating Novak Djokovic in the final, beating Rublev in the quarterfinals and then the final as well as in the semis and the final of the Masters 1000 event in Cincinnati.
