Helsingborg's school budget for 2024 looks set to be very tough. As early as 2023, the school expects to need to save SEK 70 million.

The union brings together about 3000,<> of the city's teachers. They already testify to daily stress of conscience over the lack of quality in teaching, large groups of children and pupils and that absent staff are not replaced by substitutes due to the financially squeezed situation. The administration's comment states that the risk of reduced staff density is great.
