Syrian refugees are at the center of the political bidding war of these elections. "I will send all the refugees home as soon as I come to power," promised Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kiliçdaroglu.
"It's as if we were going to have to pack our bags and go to Syria," he said. "If they stay, more than 10 million more refugees will arrive in Turkey," he added. "We are waiting for the results of the elections, everyone is talking about that," said Abdulla.
