UN Security Council may hold a meeting in May to discuss the humanitarian situation in Ukraine. This was stated at a press conference by the Permanent Representative of Switzerland to the UN, Pascal Christine Beriswil.

She clarified that at the moment there are no meetings on the situation inUkraine on the agenda. According to Berisvil, "a number of curators" dealing with Ukrainian issues in the UN Security Council "made it clear that they can ask for meetings" Earlier, Dina Gilmutdinova, adviser to the Permanent Mission of Russia to the world organization, noted that any ideas related to the infringement of Russia's veto are unacceptable.
