excavations are underway for the construction of the East Link in Nyköping. During the work, a stone in the shape of a phallic symbol has been made.

Around 60 Viking Age graves have been found in the area, as well as traces of a settlement from the early Iron Age. According to archaeologist Rebecka Jonsson, such "natural-like" phallic symbols from the Viking Age are very unusual finds in Sweden. But in Norway, hundreds of similar ones have been discovered in the same white stone.
