Sudan's military said it had foiled a failed attempt over the past two weeks to seize power with rebel force and political cover. The Sudanese Doctors Syndicate said that 70% of hospitals adjacent to the areas of clashes are not in service.
15 hospitals were bombed, 19 others were forcibly evacuated, and 6 ambulances were attacked. The death toll has risen to 528, and the number of injured to about 4600, as a result of clashes between the two sides. A ship carrying 1982,65 people, including Iranians evacuated from Sudan, arrived at the port of Port Sudan.
