Garga snipe is about people being surreptitiously photographed and then being exposed and mocked on social media. Students at Lundellska skolan in Uppsala have divided opinions about the phenomenon.
Tiktok Nordics has not heard of this trend but says they will look into it and see if it violates their guidelines. The purpose of the trend is to photograph people out on the town or on public transport, who are considered to be similar to Gargamel from the cartoon series The Smurfs.
