The American Center for Strategic and Security Studies predicted the continuation of battles in large cities in Sudan. The Center said a pause in the fighting in the coming days could allow the evacuation of foreign nationals.

It said the most likely scenario was that the warring parties would agree to a temporary ceasefire, but that the risk of future violence remained. It also said that there was a risk that the RSF would be supplied with money, weapons and other forms of military support by other countries. The report was published by the Center on Thursday.
