Justice Minister Gunnar Strömmer (M) wants to introduce a duty for teachers and health care workers to report undocumented immigrants. He has previously been critical of the SD's proposal to name anyone who is in Sweden illegally and warned of an "accusation society" According to the Tidö agreement, a duty will be introduced for public employees, such as teachers and healthcare professionals, to report illegal immigrants to the police.
Str Ömmer says that exactly who should be covered by the reporting obligation will be investigated, but he does not rule out that teachers, for example, should be cover.
