The US administration has announced a $285 million contract for the sale of one NASAMS short- and medium-range air defense system and related equipment to Ukraine. The contract states that Ukraine can receive one AN / MPQ-64F1 Sentinel radar and other equipment.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that any military equipment that is used by Kyiv both in the NWO zone and outside it is a legitimate target for Russia. The decision to supply Kyiv with F-16 fighters has not yet been made, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said.
