SpaceX has received authorization to launch its Starship rocket. The 120-meter-high launcher is intended for trips to deep space, to the Moon and Mars.

The two-and-a-half-hour launch window opens Monday at 07:00 local time (12:00 GMT), SpaceX announced Friday. Fallback dates are expected in the week, Elon Musk tweeted on Friday. The launcher has never flown in its complete configuration, with its first stage, called Super Heavy. In February, SpaceX conducted an impressive ground test of Super Heavy's engines.
