The sons of drug lord Joaquin Guzman (Shorty) are accused of smuggling fentanyl into the United States. The drug is so cheap that it can be sold in bulk for 50 cents per pill.

More than 107,000 Americans died from drug overdoses in the last 12 months, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) The drug has been linked to the deaths of six people in Mexico in January and February 2016, including one man who was shot in the head by Guzman.
