The Church of Sweden in Borensberg will help with menstrual protection at Hällaskolan. Pastor Ilona Degermark heard about a company that installs lockers with free menstrual protection in toilets.
She thought that the cabinets could be placed in the secondary school's instead of the pastorate's premises. The school will have the protection for two years and then they can refill themselves, says Deger Mark. The City Mission in several parts of Sweden has reported that young people cannot afford menstrual protection.
