Russian forces are preparing for a Ukrainian counterattack soon, an attack whose objectives experts are arguing: only between liberating land and boosting trust. Most Ukrainians view it from the perspective of the hope of liberating the territories, or at least the significant extent of the war and its repercussions on them.

Experts are also divided between those who expect Ukraine to quickly turn reality in its favor and those who advocate not underestimating Russia's defense capabilities. The war destroyed Russia's offensive capabilities, but did not affect their defensive capabilities, which they have been strengthening in Crimea, Zabarozhia and Kherson.
